Binding styles and folding patterns are the finishing touch on your projects.

After the layout, design, and printing are done the bindery machinery gets into gear. From brochures and books to pamphlets and pocket folders, the way your job gets finished is a critical step.
A sampling of styles for different kinds of projects is represented here. Consult your customer service rep if you are unsure which kind best suits your needs.

Red Sun Press offers a unique binding style for many booklets. The “square-back” or “spine-formed” binding style has the clean look of perfect binding but at a much lower price point.
Booklet-style binding often uses staples to secure the folios together as in this saddle-stitched publication.
Wiro binding is great for small-medium sized book projects. It’s versatile and durable.
The familiar perfect-bound book binding style is attractive and traditional for books of medium to long length.

Folding styles

A multi-fold mailer serves World Fellowship Center perfectly for the yearly schedule and brochure at their beautiful rustic resort for progressives and other nature-lovers.
We create standard or custom die-cut presentation folders from heavy-weight cover stocks.

Some folding options for letters, brochures or pamphlets.

Many other kinds of folds are possible if you don’t see your preferred method among those below. Just ask and we can accommodate or recommend the best approach.

A basic trifold. These are frequently used for letters or brochures.
Z-fold is similar to trifold, and can be used when a tucked-in flap is not desired.
The gatefold can be used when there is a special need for a sort of barn-door approach.
Barrel folds can work on very wide pieces. Be careful when setting up a layout to make the inside panels smaller than the outside ones.
The accordian or double-parallel fold is good for extra-long pieces.
