Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” In regards to this year’s stunning graphic, the artist has stated that “This piece is mainly a response to the senseless violence that has transpired between Israel and Palestine, but it also serves as a call to end unjust killings happening both here in the United States and around the world.”
